Group chanting and meditation

Arunachala Hill

"The concept of meditating in ancient caves is fantastic and really helps deepen the meditation practice. Now, I’m looking forward to the next pilgrimage!"
—S.G., Gurgaon, India

Southern India Has a Delightful Timelessness . . .

. . . steeped in devotion and spiritual traditions thousands of years old. It's home to many saints—modern ones like Ramana Maharshi, Sri Aurobindo, Shirdi Sai Baba, and Mahatma Gandhi; and earlier ones like St. Thomas the Apostle, Tukaram, Gyandev, and Namdev. We'll meditate in powerful ancient temples, and join Swami Kriyananda in Pune for the historic dedication of Ananda's 1st community in India.

Ajanta Caves

Pilgrimage Highlights

• Ashram and caves where Ramana Maharshi lived and meditated under Arunachala Hill

• Spiritually powerful ancient caves at Ajanta and Ellora
